Living Transformed Lives

Our final studies in the Apostle Paul’s letter to the church in Rome will explore the practical implications of all that he has been writing about so far. The wonderful truth of salvation, of righteousness and of freedom from sin must have a very practical and noticeable impact on our day to day lives. So Paul as he finalises his letter writes about the difference being a Christian should make to our individual walk with God, to our service for God and to the way we live in a sin filled world. All we learn about Jesus must make us more like Jesus.

Be Ambitious - Romans 15: 14 - 30 - Ian Naismith (Video)
Morning Service, Sunday, June 18, 2023
Paul expresses pride in what he has done for Jesus Christ, not because he was the key but because of grace. His own example is of great ambition for God he references other churches that put their ambitious service into practice. He wants the Romans to also be ambitious for the gospel.
Be Wise - Romans 16: 17 - 27 - Alan Paterson (Video)
Morning Service, Sunday, June 25, 2023
Paul’s final words contain a cry to ‘watch out’. Being a Christian comes with many perils, one of which is being deceived by someone with a smooth tongue and a winning smile. The watchword points then always to Jesus and to the only wise God.
